For most patients, we recommend a dental exam and cleaning every six months so we can catch small issues early and keep your smile healthy. Dr. Kimble will let you know if your needs call for a different schedule.
Bad breath (halitosis) is common and often caused by microbial deposits on the tongue. Brushing the tongue, staying hydrated, and keeping up regular cleanings all help. If it persists, let us know, as it can sometimes point to gum disease, dry mouth, or other dental issues we can treat.
Children should generally visit the dentist every six months, just like adults, to support healthy development and prevent cavities. We make first visits gentle and friendly. See our pediatric dentistry page for more.
